How PetCareHall Makes Money

We publish free pet care resources. Here is exactly how we keep the lights on — and what that means for the advice you read here.

Honest by design. PetCareHall is published by IGNE Publishing, LLC. We earn revenue through the methods below. Our editorial team has no quota to recommend paid products — content is written to inform, not to convert.

Display Advertising

We run display ads through Google AdSense and may use additional ad networks as the site grows. Ads are served automatically based on your browsing context. We do not control which specific ads appear and we do not sell ad placements to individual brands.

Ad revenue is separate from editorial decisions. A brand that advertises on PetCareHall receives no preferential treatment in our articles, guides, or tool recommendations.

Affiliate Links

Some links in our articles and product guides are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. Common affiliate programs we use include:

  • Amazon Associates — pet food, supplies, gear
  • Chewy Affiliate Program — food, pharmacy, and accessories
  • Pet insurance affiliate programs — Trupanion, Healthy Paws, ASPCA Pet Insurance
  • DNA and wellness test programs — Embark, Wisdom Panel
  • Supplement programs — Zesty Paws, Pet Honesty, and similar brands

We only link to products our editorial team would actually recommend. Affiliate status does not determine whether a product appears in an article — editorial merit does. We may receive a commission on products we do not recommend, and decline commissions on products we consider poor value.

Pay-Per-Call & Lead Referrals

On our local services pages — such as vets near me, groomers, and emergency vet pages — we may use pay-per-call technology. If you call a number displayed on those pages, we may receive a fee from the provider for connecting you. The fee does not affect the quality or accuracy of the listings.

Newsletter & Email

Our free newsletter is funded by the above revenue sources. We do not sell subscriber data to third parties. Occasional sponsored content within the newsletter, if any, will be labeled clearly as sponsored.

What This Means for You

Our incentive to earn revenue is real. So is our incentive to give you accurate, trustworthy advice — without it, you would not return, and the site would not survive. We believe those two incentives are aligned, not in conflict.

If you ever feel a recommendation on this site is driven by commission rather than editorial merit, tell us directly. We investigate every concern.
